My story isn't anything spectacular ... but it's mine ...
I am a 20-something Canadian girl ... a small town girl by birth, but my heart was made for the city. I was born and raised in a sweet little apple orchard town just outside of Montreal but at the age of twenty-three I caught a case of wanderlust and decided to move across the country all by myself. I now live in a humble but cozy apartment in a thriving metropolis by the sea and am blessed to call beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia my home.
By day, I work 9 to 5 as an administrative assistant for a busy online beauty retailer. By night, I am a Starbucks-drinking, beach-strolling, cupcake-eating, good-book-reading, chick-flick-watching, Jesus-worshiping free spirit. I live surrounded by a delightful posse of sweet, fun-loving characters who I am fortunate enough to get to call my friends. They certainly keep me entertained. There's also this one boy who has me pretty smitten. I'm not one to brag but I'm convinced he's pretty much the greatest guy on the face of the planet. I look forward to officially becoming his Mrs. in July of this year! ♥
MY LOVES - city skylines all lit up at night, Root Beer floats, spontaneous road trips, cheesy love songs from the 80's and early 90's, orange flavored chocolate, all things zebra-print, singers from the UK, black waterproof mascara, peach cobbler fresh out of the oven and jewelry that sparkles.
STUFF I'M NOT SUCH A BIG FAN OF - spiders, working out at the gym, movies based on books that end up being nothing like the books (yes, My Sister's Keeper - I'm talking to you!), crowded places, my boyfriend's business trips that take him away from me for weeks at a time and chewing bubble gum.
