I don't know about you all, but I am *so* glad that springtime is here. Here on the west coast, 'tis officially the season of capri pants and light spring jackets and chirping birds and (my favorite part!) cherry blossoms. The days are longer and warmer and London Drugs already has its big Easter display up. Spring is here!
I've been daydreaming about spring things all week long and have begun to compile a list of things to do over the next few weeks ~
- Paint Easter eggs
- Buy a bouquet of tulips for myself, just because
- Spend a Saturday morning jogging along the beach
- Make surprise Easter baskets with lots of chocolate for both Xinxin and Alan
- Buy a "springy" shade of nail polish color like mint green or lavender purple
- Dye my hair a new color for spring/summer
- Buy a pretty dress to wear to the Resurrection Sunday service
- Reorganize my closet and get rid of all my clothes that don't fit anymore
- Get caught up with my scrapbooking
- Accomplish at least 3 more things on my 24 List
- Plan a killer birthday bash for my 25th
- Continue to practice my Mandarin & be able to say one full sentence by summer
- Go for brunch with friends on Commercial Drive
- Dinner date at Epicurean - yum!
- Spend one last winter wonderland weekend in Whistler before all the snow melts
- Take time to stop and smell the roses - literally :)

What a wonderful list! We don't have a huge to-do list as Robbie will be finishing up his MBA courses (and will graduate May 14!!). I am planning for us to take a drive to the see the bluebonnets in bloom and we'll dye Easter eggs the week before Easter.
